I am a qualified Person-Centred Therapeutic Counsellor. As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I strive to work to the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.
Before training as a therapist, I worked in the public sector for over twenty years, including the NHS and occupational health. During that time I also undertook various voluntary roles, which included working on a helpline to support people struggling with anxiety, panic attacks and OCD. Since qualifying and starting work in private practice I also write articles and deliver training. In my spare time I enjoy reading, local history and countryside walks.
