I find it a privilege to work with trainee and newly qualified therapists.
If you are studying to become a humanistic or person-centred counsellor I would be happy to offer you counselling to meet the needs of your course requirements. I believe it is important for you to receive a good therapeutic experience; this will help you through your training and personal development towards greater resilience, ensuring you are ready for your new career.
As your therapist, I can help you consider your own experiences from a person-centred perspective. By offering gentle, tentative challenges, I can help you to reflect on your personal history and patterns of relating, to help you gain greater self-awareness and congruence. As with my other clients, I welcome your use of creative materials to aid your therapeutic journey if this is something which interests you.
I am happy to provide you with copies of my certificates etc to meet your course requirements. I am also happy to complete any paperwork required by your institution, though to protect your privacy this would only be with your explicit consent.
